# DecentSampler for Windows

Thank you for downloading **Decent Sampler** for Windows. This .zip file contains the non-installer version of Decent Sampler. It contains both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the plug-in, as well as the respective standalone versions.

# Using Standalone version

In order to run the Standalone version of the sampler, simply locate the .EXE file that corresponds to your architecture (this will be 64-bit for most modern computers), copy it to the location of your choosing, and double-click it.

# Install AAX, VST, and VST3 Plugins:

In order to run the plug-in versions, you will need to know where your DAW looks for plug-ins.

## AAX (for Pro Tools):

## VST and VST3 (for other DAWs):

1. Locate the VST and VST3 plugin files (usually with .dll or .vst3 extensions) within the extracted folder.
2. Copy the .dll (VST) and .vst3 (VST3) files to the appropriate plugin folders. Here are some commonly used locations:

VST2: Install wherever you want (e.g., C:\VST).
VST3:

64-bit: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
32-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\VST3
